Jennifer Cullen’s passion for supporting children with liver disease stems from her own childhood experiences supporting her father, who battled autoimmune liver disease and underwent two life-saving transplants. Spending significant time in hospitals during her youth, she gained profound empathy for the emotional challenges children face during health crises. Her dedication to helping young patients cope inspired her to author “Bili the Brave,” a book aimed at providing comfort and understanding to kids with biliary atresia.
Jennifer holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Pennsylvania, where she honed her writing skills as a reporter for The Daily Pennsylvanian and a member of the Kelly Writers House. Based in New York City, she currently works in public relations and is an active member of the American Liver Foundation’s Young Leadership Council.
